Russian films will be shown in cinemas in the USA and Canada
The number of cinemas in the United States and Canada, which show Russian films, by the end of this year will double to 50 halls. This statement was made by the director of development of the group of companies "Kinosfera", carrying out film distribution in the countries of North America, Aleksandr Belyakov.
“We are working to increase the number of cinemas that participate in the distribution of films from Russia to fifty by the end of the year,” he told TASS, adding that they plan to cover about 45 cities in these countries.
For example, on March 10-21, the “Tobol” film by Igor Zaitsev will be released in the USA and Canada. The film will be watched by viewers from 24 cities in North America.
It is noted that this film will cover a new audience.
“These are Orlando (Florida), Tampa, Sacramento (California), San Jose, and the small town of Tacoma (Washington)”, Belyakov specified.
